At Noja, we like to do things our way. While it’s not always the easiest road to take, we much prefer quality over quantity and ease. Hard work pays off and, ultimately, that’s what makes us stand out. Here are just a few things that make Noja, Noja.

Our Ethos
We understand the importance of eating well. For more than a decade, we’ve been serving Mobile, Alabama with high-quality fine dining cuisine. Local, seasonal food is the star of our menu no matter the time of year. We love to prepare ingredients in interesting ways that still showcase the natural flavors and texture of the food, while also adding a little something more to it.

Our Food & Drinks
Good food is always a necessity for a great dining experience. We source everything we can locally and place a huge emphasis on high-quality, farm-fresh ingredients. We amplify this natural bounty by cooking with Mediterranean ingredients using Asian cooking styles and flavors- a combination we like to call “Mediterrasian”!

Our wine list is something else to behold. We serve only the best of the best at Noja. You can rely on your old favorites or you can always try something new from our plentiful selection. We often receive comments that we’re the only restaurant in town who carries specific brands of wine! Our Culinary Team
Our culinary gurus at Noja have a passion for creating exciting and dynamic cuisine. From Chakli Diggs, the owner of Noja who hails from Ethiopia, along with the chefs Mike, KP, and Preston to our salad and dessert chef, Elizabeth Son, we have a winning culinary team. Add our expert servers to that list and you can see why customers keep coming back time and time again.

Our Location
Just a few years ago, not many people were excited about the idea of fine dining in Mobile, Alabama. However, in recent years, the growth in this area has spurred somewhat of a food revolution. Noja itself is located on North Jackson Street in Downtown Mobile. The building is a renovated townhouse that has been through many lifetimes: a private home, a cab company, and the Little Turf Club, one of Mobile’s most legendary bars. Our building has history and we love it. We also boast Mobile’s most romantic courtyard.

Our Customers
Noja has seen a lot of faces over the years. For over a decade, we’ve been one of Mobile’s most beloved fine-dining establishments. We have hosted many local business owners and entertainers, including Mobile-based attorneys Dean Waite and David J. Maloney and the mayor of Mobile himself, Sandy Stimpson. However, our patrons are not just locals: we’ve also seen the likes of Secretary of the Navy Dan Marino and actor Robert DeNiro!

It’s Noja’s attention to detail and our focus on farm-fresh ingredients that has allowed us to continue to serve this area for so long.
